As a Native American artist, it was important to Christopher for the studio name to have a connection to his heritage. Christopher’s Hocąk name is Huuc Coo Ga, which translates to Blue Bear. Christopher opened Blue Bear Studio in 2021 as his creative space, a gallery to share his artwork and a gift shop with a variety of offerings. Blue Bear Studio offers beautiful original paintings, prints, notecards, tote bags and other quality items at various price points.  Supporting small business is a meaningful way to encourage artists and contribute to the creative community and local economy.
